Clear, focused intention moves mountains.
Intention needs to involve all the bodies: physical, emotional, mental, and energetic. It is much more than picturing what we want. It is being in sync with all levels of ourselves. We have all had the experience of what we want or need being right there when we need it. When intention is happening, it is always easy. Often we aren’t even aware that we are intending and creating.
The problem is when we aren’t clear, focused or have a need to have some control over the process.
From what I understand about the new research on epigenetics, we have genes that predispose, but how we live and how we think has a lot to do with what actually happens. So how do we get clear, focused, and open to what comes? How do we get “all of us” on the same page? How do we support health in all of our bodies?
First is the willingness to be conscious and to be open to and notice what our body is telling us.
Being grounded, having space, boundaries, and protection – all help to maintain awareness. We have to be willing to use the mind as a tool, not the center. Instead we want to come from the heart which draws on all parts of our being, both physical and non-physical in a way that the mental body can’t. It is the connection to our knowingness, to our “higher selves”, and to God/Spirit.
Learning to discern the heart from the mind can be difficult.
Emotions are great tools for getting clear as they are a mirror of when we are in or out-of-sync with our heart. Releasing the emotions, attachments, and aversions that are involved with a subject gives you more clarity as to your path to greater health. Personally, I love The Sedona Method for helping me clear beliefs and emotions which are blocking moving forward on my intentions or knowing how to work with a health issue.
Creating clear intention is an amazing and lifelong process in which there are no mistakes, lots of gifts from God/Spirit, reappraisals, and gentle support when we are listening. Our mind is not in charge, but our connected self can lead the way to great happiness.
